Tap Systems has created the first line of wearable keyboards.
In 2018, it created Tap Strap, a device that goes around your fingers and lets you type text or give commands just by tapping any surface. The company has sold more than 40,000 units, totaling four-and-a-half million dollars in sales.
In 2023, Tap Systems created TapXR, a wrist wearable with improved accuracy and extended gesture recognition. Just put it on and tap on any surface. Your taps will enable you to type text and give commands on laptops, televisions, and tablets.
Company CEO Dovid Schick founded and took his last company public in less than five years. And President Dr. Sabrina Kemeny co-invented the CMOS image-sensor chip which is used in nearly all digital cameras, including your smartphone’s.
