Lit Motors is re-imagining the electric vehicle.

It’s created a self-balancing, two-wheeled electric car. Some might consider it to be an electric bike. But no matter how you describe it, this vehicle is intended for the seventy-five percent of Americans who routinely drive alone.

This vehicle is compact, energy efficient, and aerodynamic. It can reach speeds of up to 100 miles per hour, and can achieve six hours of battery time after charging for just about five minutes.

Lit Motors has been issued fifteen U.S. patents and will retail its vehicle for $32,000. The company has already received more than 1,000 pre-orders.
