Twenty years ago, entrepreneur Craig Nabat decided to quit smoking. He tried numerous “solutions,” but nothing worked. Finally, a half-hour low-level laser-therapy procedure did the trick. This innovative, pain-free approach cured his addiction and helped Craig kick his smoking habit for good.

In fact, the procedure was so impactful that Craig decided to pass it along to others aiming to quit smoking. So he adopted the principles of this procedure and created Freedom Laser, the first home-use laser device for quitting smoking.

Twenty million smokers in the U.S. want to quit. And the market for products and aides aimed at helping a person quit is valued at more than two-and-a-half billion dollars.

Freedom Laser’s device is lightweight, portable, and pain-free. It’s shaped like a pair of ordinary headphones, and is placed around a user’s ears.

The company has been awarded utility patents in the U.S. and China, and conducted the first FDA pre-submission meeting to present protocols for potential clinical trials.
