Gryphon keeps you safe while you’re surfing the internet.

It’s a system that offers a cloud-managed, network-based protection service. This system consists of a high-performance WiFi router, a mobile app, and machine learning technology that grows smarter as it learns about how you and your family use the internet.

Gryphon’s system was designed for the home or office. But it also offers protection on the go with HomeBound. This is a patent-pending mobile service that acts as an extension of the Gryphon system to cover mobile devices.

Since launching in 2018, Gryphon has generated more than twelve million dollars in sales. And it’s raised more than eleven million dollars from investors. The company has been granted ten patents, and has earned numerous awards, including:

• Top 10 List of Best Wifi Mesh Network Systems for 2019 by PC Magazine.

• Best of CES 2019.

• And “The best parental control hardware around” by Fatherly, a lifestyle brand for parents.

As mentioned, Gryphon’s top priority is to keep you safe online. And lately, that’s become a big challenge.

Right now, there are more than twenty billion “connected” devices around the world. This is projected to reach seventy-four billion by 2025.

Notably, seventy percent of these devices are vulnerable to cyber criminal activity. Since Covid-19, there’s been a 330% increase in the number of hacking attempts.

Keeping kids safe on the internet is just as big of a challenge. Kids spend an average of seven hours a day in front of screens. And ninety percent of kids ages 8 to 16 have seen inappropriate content online. Eighty-eight percent of parents are concerned about their kids’ online activities.

To combat these threats, cyber security has transformed into a $270 billion market. And the demand for cyber security tools has only increased as work-from-home lifestyles have become more common.

Gryphon works to offer total home or office protection. Its platform is easy to set up and is scalable, enabling it to block unwanted content, malware, and intrusions for any connected device on its network.

Gryphon’s system sets up a wireless mesh network. This describes a network that consists of a main router that connects directly to a modem. The router then works with a series of satellite modules placed around the house to provide full coverage. Every module is part of the single wireless network.

Gryphon’s system offers features including:

• Whole-house or office connectivity and protection.

• Content filtering by age group. This enables parents to control what their kids can access online.

• Screen-time management.

• Vulnerability scanning.

• Malware and ransomware protection.

• Protection when mobile devices are active.

Setting up the Gryphon system is easy. Users simply use the app to scan the activation code on the bottom of the router, and follow the instructions provided. This simplicity makes Gryphon suitable for schools and small businesses that may not have an IT expert. These places can now receive enterprise-level protection for their network.

Gryphon earns revenue through sales of its router system and optional advanced protection service.

The Gryphon Tower, which offers up to 3,000 square feet of coverage, retails for $209 each or $399 for a pair of routers. The Gryphon Guardian, ideal for smaller spaces, retails for $99 or $249 for a set of three.

Users can purchase as many units as they need to create the protection space that’s right for them. Routers are available through the company’s website, and retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart.

The cloud-managed protection service is offered at seventy-nine dollars per year or $149 for a three-year plan.
