What Steve Jobs Taught Me About Investing

By Wayne Mulligan, on Thursday, May 10, 2018

Steve Jobs — expert investor?

There’s little debate that Jobs was a visionary technologist:

He earned that status as the Founder of Apple and movie studio Pixar, and as the creator of everything from the first graphical PC to the iPhone.

But as I’ve come to learn, Jobs was also an expert investor.

In fact, over time, I’ve earned a great deal of money from a single lesson he taught me.

And not only could this lesson help you make a lot of money, too…

But I believe it could help you add six figures to your nest-egg this year.

“Put a Dent in the Universe”

Yesterday, Matt shared two of the three reasons we love investing in start-ups:

As you learned, not only can start-ups provide you with enormous profits, but they can also help you build a diversified portfolio.

But before I share the third reason we’re “hooked” on start-up investing, I wanted to share the inspiration behind it...

You see, several years ago, I came across an old Steve Jobs interview.

While he was talking about what motivates him, he said that he and his team weren’t motivated simply by earning a good income...

He said the reason they come to work every day was because they want to “make a little dent in the universe.

They believed they could change the world — and as it turns out, they succeeded.

We look at early-stage investing the same way.

In fact, this is the third reason we got “hooked” on start-up investing.

Let me explain...

Change The World, Earn a Fortune

Think about the products you use each day, things that have changed your life:

The Internet, your car, the medications you take...

These innovations were created by companies, many of which are now publicly traded.

You could invest in these companies today by purchasing their shares on the stock market…

But when you do that, the money you’re investing isn’t going to the company. Instead, it’s going to another shareholder.

Meaning, your investment has no impact on the company, and no impact on the company’s ability to create world-changing products.

However, if you’d invested in that company when it was just a privately-held start-up, your investment would have gone directly to the company.

In other words, you’d have had a direct impact on its ability to change the world.

For those of us who aren’t tech visionaries like Steve Jobs, early-stage investing is one of the only ways we’ll be able to make a “dent in the universe.”

And that’s one of the most important reasons we invest in early-stage companies...

In fact, it’s the reason why we’re making our next early-stage investment. And this time, you can come along for the ride!

Have Impact Closer to Home

When Matt and I are considering investing in a start-up, we think about how the company’s product or service could impact our lives, and the lives of people we love.

That’s because if a start-up could impact our lives, it stands to reason that it could do the same thing for millions — or even billions — of other people, too.

In fact, this explains the reasoning behind our next early-stage investment...

About 20 years ago, I lost one of my dearest friends to a rare form of cancer.

He was only 27-years-old, and he left this earth way too soon.

Given how widespread cancer is, unfortunately, you’ve probably had similar experiences.

Well, today, we might have the chance to do something about this problem…

We might have the chance to strike back at this deadly disease...

It’s all thanks to a tiny lab tucked away in South Texas.

Cancer Research Breakthrough

This lab is the headquarters of one of the most innovative biotech firms in the country.

And it’s developing a cure for the exact type of cancer that took one of my dearest friends.

The company has already completed its Phase I clinical trials, and the data it’s released has the scientific community buzzing...

You see, even though it’s still early, its drug has already proven to be more effective than any other drug of its kind.

Which is why the company is now preparing to conduct its Phase II trials.

But in order to be able to fund its next clinical trials, the company needs a significant amount of capital…

Which is why it’s making preparations right now to go public in an IPO, and then start trading on the NASDAQ later this year.

Your Chance to Get in Early

And here’s the thing:

We recently discovered a way for you to invest the company todaybefore it goes public.

In other words, you’ll be able to make a direct investment in this company, before its shares start to trade.

Not only does this put you in position to change the lives of millions of people around the world (so you can “make a dent in the universe”)…

But once the company goes public, we believe you could earn massive returns.

In fact, after its shares start trading, we’re forecasting gains of 19,132% (or more).

That’s enough to turn every $1,000 you invest into $192,324... and every $5,000 into nearly $1 million.

If you’re a current Private Market Profits member, we’ll be sending you a special research brief on this company within the next week or so.

This is a special report. It won’t be your regular issue for May (we’ll explain why in the report). So you can expect an additional recommendation from us later this month.

We’re extremely excited to share this potentially world-changing opportunity with you.

Happy investing.
