Xascale is a software development company that’s created a website builder called YoowNeek.

With other website building platforms, users are forced to choose from pre-made templates. YoowNeek enables users to create unique websites from a blank canvas.

By offering this feature, Xascale is aiming to disrupt the $34 billion Web Design Services industry.

Recently, this industry has experienced significant M&A activity — for example:

In June 2018, Web.com, a company that offers “do-it-yourself” website building and large-scale website development for corporations, was acquired for $2 billion…

And in April 2018, Square (NYSE:SQ) acquired website builder Weebly for $365 million.

YoowNeek offers a drag-and-drop website editor, meaning users don’t need any prior development experience to create a website. Once created, the platform features an artificial-intelligence-based algorithm that automatically resizes a website to fit any window size on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Xascale launched in May 2016 with a focus on software development and consulting services. In April 2017, the company’s founder began research on creating a cloud-based website builder, and has since developed YoowNeek into a working prototype.

With funds raised, Xascale will introduce its product to market and cover the costs of its data centers. According to the company, these data centers will enable it to scale its product to millions of customers.
