Social Platform For Fitness Lovers
Heart Rate Social is targeting two growing markets: the $30 billion U.S. fitness market, and the $12 billion online dating market.
It’s a mobile social platform for people who enjoy health and fitness. It enables them to do three things:
• Find like-minded workout partners.
• Discover local fitness events in their area.
• And connect with potential romantic partners based on their shared interest in fitness.
Heart Rate Social previously raised $200,000 to test a beta version of its app, and launched a full version in August 2018.
The company is initially targeting “millennials” in Austin, Texas, ranked by the Brookings Institution as a top U.S. city for attracting this demographic. Heart Rate Social will use funds to expand to other markets in Texas, and eventually scale nationwide.
